Fabulous, Victorian, double silver watch chain.
Beautiful curb link stamped for silver on each & every link. Features two swivel dog clips & an additional chain with a Threepence coin- adorned with the veiled portrait of Queen Victoria & dated 1899.
Traditionally worn to give easier access to a pocket watch in the watchpocket of a waistcoat. The Albert style has T-bar fittings that tucked into a buttoned buttonhole of the waistcoat.
Now more fashionably worn as necklaces by both men & women.
Measures Approx Length 17 Inches & Width 6.3mm
Additional chain length approx 1 3/4 Inches.
