An Edwardian 9ct gold heart‑shaped locket, centred with a single old cut diamond set within a sharply engraved starburst motif. The front displays crisp period engraving and a warm antique gold tone; the reverse is smooth and polished.

Murrle Bennett Pendant

9ct Gold Stamped

Circa 1900

Art Nouveau pendant by Murrle Bennett in 9ct gold, set with two iridescent mother of pearl. The openwork frame shows the maker’s signature flowing foliate lines, with a smaller articulated drop below for added movement. Clean goldwork, secure settings, and a warm original patina.

Murrle Bennett & Co. was an Anglo‑German jewellery firm active from 1884 to 1916, known for bringing Jugendstil (German Art Nouveau) and Arts & Crafts design into the British market. Their work is now highly collectible for its distinctive flowing lines, refined goldwork, and collaborations with leading designers.

The pendant measures approximately 40mm in length including loop and 20mm in width.

A classic three‑strand graduated pearl necklace, strung with lustrous, well‑matched cultured pearls arranged in subtly increasing sizes from top to bottom. The strands meet at an ornate 9ct gold clasp set with a rich oval amethyst, framed by a border of small pearls for added refinement.
