Pretty, Victorian 9ct yellow & rose gold swallow pendant. A lovely conversion from a brooch to pendant. Set with pretty, turquoise stones through his rose gold body. His wings are yellow gold, with lovely feathered detailing.
Swallows were said to represent love & faithfulness. Typically items adorned with a swallow were gifted to a loved one when they set off to sea or war. It was a reminder of the love shared and a promise to return home safely.
Pendant measures approx height 23.5mm & width 15.2mm
